Edge-polishing machine |
|
 |
The automatic edge polishing machine LF12T has been specially designed for the continuous production of straight, gauged, regular bull-nose, bevels and grooves.
The conformation and polishing is carried out in one single automatic operation managed by the PLC, by placing the material on a conveyor belt and going through a sequence of gauging, pre-shaping, polishing, beveling and cutting spindles. |
|
• Generator spindle motor power 2,2 kW/3 HP
• Polishing spindles motor power 1,5 kW/2 HP
• Beveling spindles motor power 1,5 kW/2 HP
• Cutting spindle motor power 4 kW/5,5 HP
• Belt motor power 1,1 kW/1,5 HP
• Belt speed 0-1,5 m/min |
|
|

Pre-shaping spindles
Pre-shaping of the bull-nose and other round forms (half bull-nose, pencil round etc.) are carried out by two diamond wheels, mounted at 45°, with direct transmission, pressurized and positioning with manual blockage.
Polishing spindles
A group of a flat diamond wheel, with automatic positioning and pneumatic blockage, and seven spindles with pneumatic work pressure carry out shaping and polishing of bull-nose and other round forms (half bull-nose, pencil round etc.).
Beveling spindles
For pieces that require beveling superior and inferior sections, there are two spindles with direct drive, pneumatic work pressure, and pressurized to avoid water and dust entrance.
|
Structure
On an electro-welded steel structure with grinded support plane runs the synthetic conveyor belt with a guide that avoids the lateral displacement, driven by a motorreducer with an electronic speed control. The material is transported by polyurethane rollers with stainless steel axes and, for big dimension pieces, there's a mobile bar with plastic wheels and entrance-exit benches with acetyl resin wheels and stainless steel axes. The structure has a
material-support system with motorized anti-slip rollers.
Cutting spindle
For making grooves on the inferior, superior or on the edge of the material, there is a spindle for mounting a diamond disk with manual vertical, horizontal and angular motions.
Calibrating spindle
For grinding and gauging the thickness of the edge with a diamond cup wheel. Can also shape different forms. It has vertical, horizontal and angular manual adjustments.

Edge
polisher for flat edges and bullnoses
|
|
|
|
Specially
developed for the generation and the polish
of flat edges and bullnoses.
Main characteristic is the executing of the
work with a single head doing without of form
tool, since it generates the different profiles
with a single diamond flat tool. After the
generation it polish one with the use of normally
abrasives or diamond sandpaper.
Built on an electrowelded monoblock structure
of steel. The plane of work of high thickness
is rectified and it has a lining in nonskid
rubber. |
|
•
3 HP (2.2 kW) motor
• Maximum workable edge thickness
up to 4 3/4"
• Maximum workable length 126"
• Programmable logical controller
for predefined and personalized work
programs
• Main tool unit's movements operated
by levers and gearbox
• None hydraulic parts
• Six pneumatic presses for material
clamping |
|
|

Operation
The operation
of the machine is facilitated with the adoption
of a PLC and an operator panel with potent
software with predefined work programs for
the most usual forms, being able to in all
moment to generate personalized programs.
The electric and electronic equipment contemplates
norms of security and protection, including
the use of a photoelectric barrier that
prevents the intrusion in the work area.
Equipment
The basic equipment
of the machine includes five cylinders and
rules for the blockade of the material to
elaborate, revolvable pneumatic cylinder
to facilitate the positioning of the material
and solenoid valve for the refrigeration
water. The lubrication of the essential
parts of the machine is automatic and programmable.
|
The
head
The head moves
on lineal guides with recycling balls by
means of a motor with variable speed with
an inverter and in the vertical sense on
chromed guides with brass sleeves by means
of a motoreducer
The particular system of orientation of
the head by means of levers with a box of
oversized gears with a motoreducer with
variable speed by inverter. Is accurate and
soft in its operation and extremely robust
with relationship to the traditional systems
by circular sector and gear.
The
spindle motor
The spindle
motor has been specially developed as a
compact, slight and potent unit with hollow
axis for the passage of the refrigeration
water.
The work pressure is pneumatic and compensated
automatically in relationship with the angle
of operation of the spindle.

Flat
edges continuous polishing machine
|
|
 |
Basically,
the LF11 edge polisher has been developed
for the polishing of either marble or granite
straight edges by means of a nimble and simple
process. LF11 features: an electrically welded
steel monoblock structure with a rectified
supporting plane for the conveyor belt.
Conveyor belt made of man-made material, is
powered by a variable speed motoreducer through
a frequency converter.
A wheeled mobile rod can support very large
plates. Vise for plates with a nonslip rollers,
and a motorized positioning.
Plate guide polyurethane rollers the axles
of which are protected with a hars chrome.
Entrance and exit tables. Table wheels made
of acetal resin and stainless steel axles. |
